Salonga Wetland Advocates Network, Inc. (SWAN) is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt environmental nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing and protecting wetlands in Fort Salonga, Long Island, NY.
Charlie Muller is president & treasurer of SWAN and manages SWAN's projects and events.
Tia Muller is a director of SWAN. Tia is an active environmentalist and organic gardener with thirty years of event management experience. Through Long Island Cares, she works with families from underserved communities suffering from food insecurity.
Stephen Uzzo, PhD, is secretary of SWAN. Steve is Chief Science Officer for the New York Hall of Science in New York City. For fun, he has been involved in fisheries projects near his Fort Salonga home for many years.
Darcy Lonsdale, Ph.D., is a professor in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, Stony Brook University. Her research and teaching interests primarily involve coastal ecosystems. Darcy is a Northport resident.
